Features and application areas
CTMU series medium-power three-phase input and three-phase output series UPS, with single unit capacity from 10KVA to 400KVA. This series of products uses advanced DSP digital technology, combined with high-speed 16-bit digital chips, ASIC's DDC control technology and advanced high-power devices IGBT and SCR to design an intelligent UPS with large capacity, high reliability and excellent performance. . This series of products is the result of a combination of the latest international hardware and the most advanced software, and can provide multiple units running in parallel. This series of products is widely used in communication centers, precision instruments, CAD, CAM, hospitals, military facilities, CNC equipment, SMT equipment, IT industry, computers and peripheral equipment, multi-line slicers and large motors, etc.

Powerful Bilingual (Chinese/English) Display Interface
The full digital touch-screen LCD display supports both Chinese and English. The display content can be set in either language. Operational status, procedures, data collection, fault diagnosis, and maintenance information are all clearly visible.

Double Conversion True Online Design

Utilizing DSP (Digital Signal Processor) full digital control technology, the UPS provides precise, fast, reliable, and stable control. It features comprehensive protection functions and high reliability, with minimal output waveform distortion.

Flexible Parallel Technology

Suitable for different loads and systems, the UPS can operate as a standalone unit, in 1+1 parallel configuration, or with multiple units in an N+1 parallel setup.

High System Efficiency

With ECO operating mode, the efficiency reaches over 98%.

Output Transformer

The output transformer isolates the load, reducing harmonic current and interference from the mains power.

Optional 12-Pulse Rectifier

This feature improves the UPS's input power factor and effectively suppresses harmonic pollution to the power grid.

Allows 100% Unbalanced Operation

Using independent modulation on three phases and full-bridge inverter technology, the UPS can reliably supply power even when the three-phase load is 100% unbalanced.

Intelligent Battery Management

A standalone battery diagnostic package is available, where parameters can be set through the user interface. The software automatically adjusts charging current and allows setting of automatic battery testing and charge/discharge intervals based on the grid's safety status, thereby extending battery life and ensuring intelligent battery management.

Rich Communication Interface Features

The UPS supports a variety of communication functions, including RS232 and RS485 communication ports, built-in modem interface, battery diagnostic interface, and multiple dry contact signal interfaces, enabling versatile communication and remote monitoring.

Comprehensive Protection Functions

The UPS is equipped with multiple protection features, detecting and alarming for conditions such as over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, overload, and short-circuit, ensuring strong environmental adaptability.

Audible and Visual Alarms

Equipped with audible and visual alarms, the UPS helps in remote visual management, preventing the accidental losses caused by traditional UPS systems that lack real-time monitoring.

  • Green Light: UPS is operating normally.
  • Yellow Light: UPS is running in battery mode.
  • Red Light: Maintenance alarm.

Multiple Output Channels

The 10-80KVA models have four output channels, allowing integration of various devices without the need for an external switch box.

Multiple Voltage Output Options

Compatible with various input and output voltage specifications, the UPS uses an isolation transformer wound with copper wire, offering low loss and minimal heat generation. It supports multiple voltage standards, including Japanese, US, and Chinese voltages.

Color Options

The main unit and battery cabinet are painted with imported coatings and can be customized to match the color tone of on-site equipment. Available colors include beige, computer white, and cool gray.

 

 

Performance Features

Dual Static Bypass Switch
The inverter and bypass sides are equipped with two static bypass switches composed of 12 SCRs (Silicon-Controlled Rectifiers), ensuring seamless switching between inverter and bypass power supplies, maintaining continuous and smooth output voltage waveforms. The control circuit uses "zero-crossing" switching technology, ensuring synchronization of the UPS with the grid with zero ms switching time when in sync, and less than 4 ms when not in sync. This ensures stable and uninterrupted output voltage and frequency regardless of grid frequency variations.

Self-Diagnosis and Self-Protection
The CTMU series UPS has strong self-diagnostic capabilities. It is equipped with 32 sensor monitoring points and features ultra-fast detection and response using DSP technology. The UPS can provide over 200 fault messages, real-time data logging, and device parameter settings. The diagnostic functions enable the UPS to enter protection mode immediately when a fault occurs. An emergency shutdown system is also included.

Charging and Battery Intelligent Management
The UPS includes an automatic adjustment function for the large current charger (1A-50A) and a self-diagnostic and self-maintenance system for the battery. Features also include automatic battery warning systems, periodic charge/discharge cycles, and no-load protection settings.

Human-Machine Interaction, Remote Monitoring, and Network Management (Optional)
The CTMU series UPS features a large, ultra-bright backlit LCD touchscreen with 320x240 pixel resolution, offering full Chinese display, making it ideal for domestic users. The LCD display shows over 200 pieces of information, continuously updating the status of the mains power and UPS operation. The UPS panel includes various function and parameter setting buttons to facilitate bidirectional interaction between the user and the system. The CTMU series UPS is designed for user customization. Optional Winpower power management software is available and is compatible with various power management software from Taiwan's Megatec. Using the RS-232 serial communication interface, the UPS can communicate with a computer or other monitoring devices, enabling multi-functional, multi-purpose monitoring and management operations. An SNMP card can also be added for network management systems.
